Well here it is 23 hours 33 minutes and 40 seconds away from when Kate makes her first trip home. Katlyn is making some really great gains here and although she cannot walk or talk when asked the right question she can make her needs known.  The therapists and doctors all comment on how hard she is trying. She’s a fighter!  She is following more commands and her response time is getting so much better [...]

It has been a week now since Kate has been moved to 2 North rehab at Upstate Hospital and we are ALL a bit exhausted.  A typical day starts at 9:30 and ends at 3:30 with seven 1/2 hour therapy sessions scheduled.  This seems even more grueling because every 1/2 hour we are moving to [...]
